Biography — Meg Porter
With an extensive creative background and a Bachelor's degree in Music Business/Management from Berklee College of Music, Meg Porter has worked at the intersection of music, events, and marketing, supporting many high-level executives, major brands, and music companies in the LA area.
Meg’s professional career began as the Creative Director at Inspire, a music and branding agency, where she assisted the CEO on live music events and marketing initiatives for industry leaders like Warner Brothers, Universal Music Group, Sony Music, Whole Foods Market, CBRE, The Dodgers, and The National MS Society. As the primary liaison for the Whole Foods account, she managed the monthly music program, booked in-store performances, launched a Vinyl Records initiative across all So-Cal stores, and supervised Inspire’s music internship program.
With an entrepreneurial spirit and passion for community, Meg founded “Berklee Night” in 2014, the official monthly music series for Berklee Alumni, now a well-established, diverse, and inclusive networking hub, and valuable creative platform for the entire Berklee community.
During the global pandemic, Meg pivoted to the digital space as a social media manager for clients such as Community Reboot, the women in music series hosted by Maria Egan (Head of Global Music @ Riot Games), Berklee Alumni Affairs, InsightLA Meditation, Atlantic Records, Kobalt Music Publishing, Whitman Homes Real Estate, and more.
In her spare time, Meg enjoys singing, songwriting, and recording new music. She is passionate about holistic health, wellness, and meditation, and supporting the LGBTQIA+ community. Meg is honored to help further the inspiring Keychange mission.
