Natalie Greffel
Composer, singer, and bass player, Natalie Greffel (she/her) is the founder of New Past, an ever-evolving group of creatives, wielding music to (re)learn our global and personal pasts.
She has worked with and released numerous albums with artists such as Angel Bat Dawid and Radio Citizen. Her 2020 debut album "Para Todos" was inspired by her Mozambican heritage while mixing it with Afro-Brazilian music.
In 2023 she won the German Jazz award for best vocals and graduated with a Master's from Wesleyan University where her research was rooted in Black feminist thought and Black cultural mythology.
